Chapter 36: Raise the Energy

Dear reader

Excuse me, I think you have something in your eye. Oh, wait. No. It's just a sparkle :)

Hello, you :). I send my love to you this Easter. This weekend is an empowering time and delivers a timeless message. Resurrection, restoration and fundamentally; hope, for the human race. Forget about the Easter eggs and the rabbits. The real reason why we celebrate Easter is beautiful: Jesus Christ, the Lord and saviour, is risen.

Rise, rise and rise again. We can all rise in His example. Spiritually and emotionally. I am talking about raising the frequency, raising the energy in yourself, raising the energy of the planet. It was Nikola Tesla that described the universe in terms of energy, frequency and vibration. Everything you can see around you, everything that you can touch, is energy. On the deepest subatomic level, we are energy. Therefore the idea of objects being "solid" is an illusion, and as Einstein said: "a persistent one". The importance of this is to understand that we are also frequency, and vibrate at different levels. In my previous post I described us as the true currency of the planet. We have to understand that what we do, changes the world. Half of being a Christian is believing and honouring the scripture; the other half is taking action in your beliefs. Similarly it is not just knowing wisdom, but taking action to make a difference in the world. Jesus' teaching is that we should all rise, and because of his sacrifice, we can make everyday a new day, a new chance, to change yourself and the people around you, for the better. Resurrection is not just for one day alone, but every day, from now on to become the greatest person you can possibly be.

This idea came to me while walking down town. I stood and watched the people go by in their hundreds. I watched the way they walked and saw the similarity with the way the breeze would flow through the trees, or the rivers down the mountain side. There was a flow about it all: a flow of energy. I see that the frequency in many cities can be quite low. Many people look, quite frankly, sad, stressed, miserable.  Mood then, is our frequency vibrating at a particular level. At a high level we are joyous and happy, at a low level: we are anxious, sad, and tired. Some people have an "aura" about them. Similarly in a football stadium where the energy is colossal, or in clubs and large social gatherings. The great way to increase one's energy is to be with other like-minded people. Meet people who inspire you and see the world the way that you do. The highest frequencies are from those who made the biggest changes on the planet. Jesus Christ was the most obvious example.

We are the radio that can tune in to the right frequency. Hence the famous band called "Radiohead". This is what we are. We are frequency transmitters. The choice to be elevated, or to be negative, is entirely our own. We decide what we "tune" into. There are things in society that are arguably designed to trap or narrow our frequency. Labels, cultures and identities are the biggest killers. I am talking about the television, negative songs on the radio, violence and sex. Russell Brand is doing a wonderful series on Youtube  called "The Trews" where he takes apart daily newspapers and shows how they don't provide you with anything valuable or nourishing. Quite the opposite. They proliferate fear, try to sell you things you don't need and keep you at a very narrow level of frequency. Television is the same. Throw away your television (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Be the star of your own programme, and become the news that you want to hear.

We can do many things to increase our frequency. Exercise is powerful, it moves us, literally. Prayer, and meditation. Having a diet that nourishes you, detoxes and empowers you. Listening to music that reminds you to enjoy life, away from lyrics that have low frequencies attached to them. Lyrics that talk about sex, drugs. To create: to dance, sing, write. Ultimately resurrection was about sacrifice; giving something for the greater good. So produce, rather than consume. Give back, rather than take, and the world will love you for it.

It is this love that I am beginning to see in all things: God moves in mysterious ways. The energy of the universe is alive in everything. Sometimes I feel this presence in nature. You can see it when you look out your window, to the clouds, to the trees. You can feel it when you drink a cool glass of water on a sunny day. These things give so much in their beauty, never asking for anything back in return. Appreciating these moments of being alive will soothe the soul. Make every moment count, make every day bright. Smile, it's time to rise.
